Study With Us

This is where it gets serious.

In the very best possible way.

The Whole Horse Institute certification pathway will change how you see every horse you ever work with.

Is This For You?

You might be a bodyworker, a physiotherapist, a veterinary nurse or a farrier. You might be a trainer or a coach who has always known there is more going on in a horse's body than you yet understand. You might be an owner who has spent years watching your horse and wanting to do more than call the vet and hope.

Whatever brought you here β€” if you are serious about horses and serious about helping them β€” this programme is for you.

Prior qualifications may be recognised through our Accreditation of Prior Learning process. You may be closer to starting than you think.

What Studying With Us Actually Looks Like

Everything lives on The Whole Horse Institute hub β€” your modules, your community, your webinar recordings, your tutorial bookings.

Most students log in at least once a week because there is always something worth engaging with.

Nearly every week there is a live webinar β€” interactive, responsive, sparked by your questions and cases.

Every month there is a personal one to one tutorial with Ailsa.

Ten times a year there are practical weekends in the beautiful Γ…ngermanland region of northern Sweden β€” where you work with real horses presenting real cases, eat together in the evenings and build the kind of professional friendships that last careers.

Most years there is the chance to take part in a rider's clinic.

Each year students visit a local herd of Nakota horses β€” a rare American heritage breed kept in near-wild conditions β€” which is one of the most extraordinary learning experiences the programme offers.

What Our Students Say

"I am glad the universe put this course in front of me. It ties beautifully into my previous training and I love the approachability of the tutorials and the possibility to get help and support from teachers and students alike." β€” Joanne, equine rehabilitation student, Stockholm

"The course completely changed my perspective on my horses. I find myself thinking about their movement during the day when I cannot be with them. It has changed how I keep them and how I see them." β€” Morag Wilson, Scottish student
